Our Visitors / Guest Book

We have a visitors book at the home that guests put messages in for us throughout the year and at the end of a season we collect it. The comments reduce us all to tears and I mean us ALL they are so moving and guests reading them during their stay, realise that there are other families out there experiencing the same as them and they dont feel so alone.

Up until now we have respected their privacy but we thought it would be nice for supporters/donators and companies to actually see a real family that they have helped. We have now popped onto their welcome letter a form asking for their permission to put a family quote and their picture on our website.

Visitors/future donators and supporters can see some families that we have helped and make it a bit more real and see the difference we are making and the smiles we are putting back on those dear little faces. -Pam

Thanks so much for our lovely weekend. We spent a great time at your caravan and swimming pool. Girls and my husband enjoyed PsP games and I found time for reading a book finally. Your Caravan is very well equipped so we could prepare everything there. I'm sending you some photos of us. - the Skladnik family.

Dear Pam and family

Thank you so much for the fantastic week we had staying at Shorefield Country Park earlier this month.
The accommodation was beautiful, and it was wonderful to spend time together as a family after what has been a difficult winter.

We fitted in so much during our stay, an open top bus ride, a day at Beaulieu (the boys love cars and top gear) the girls had a pony ride, which was a real highlight for them. Also fossil hunting on the beach and crabbing. Just being able to spend time playing with the children altogether was lovely.

We have some great memories and I hope you enjoy our photos

Thank you for your wonderful generosity and work that makes these holidays possible.

With love and best wishes

Just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you so much for our stay at Oakdene. We had such an amazing break! Very action-packed - went to Paulton's Park and even managed to squeeze a day on the Isle of Wight (or 'Dinosaur Island' as Jacob believed it to be). I have attached some pics for you :-)

Take care, and all the best with the wonderful charity.

Grace on holidayFor the last 5 days Grace has been on holiday in the beautiful new forest all thanks to Hannah's Holiday Home Appeal! They gave us their amazing caravan for free. The whole place was rammed with toys that Grace loved! We had 5 solid days of fun and Daddy even surprised Grace with a visit on Saturday which she loved! She made a little friend called Keira who followed Grace everywhere (even in the toilet!!) was so lovely to have 5 whole days of letting Grace be a 'normal' 5 year old! And Grace being Grace and her usual cute self insisted we shut our eyes and said thank you to Hannah, hoping she would hear us in heaven! Thank you so much to Pam for getting in touch and offering us the holiday, we made loads of treasured memories.

Thanks a million for our stay in the fabulous New Forest Hannah's Holiday Home (5th - 9th Aug). We had an amazing time. It's a great base for lots of places around. We went to Paulton's Theme Park, Beaulieu Motor Museum, and saw all the lovely wild horses and ponies around Burley. The caravan was so comfortable and particularly liked the dishwasher so I didn't need to wash up ! Simple pleasures but well thought out. Please pass on our thanks to your team and many fundraisers. Lots of lovely memories created.

Hi Pam.

Our family would like to thank you so so much for allowing us to use your holiday home. It was amazing.

Our 11 month old Sofia, loved every second crawling around the home and playing in the Wendy house with her bigger 4yr old sister Jessica.

The pool was brilliant. Jessica got brave towards the end of the weekend and went down the slide on her own over and over again.

Sofia had only just had her central line Op the day before in hospital so couldn't go swimming, but she enjoyed paddling her toes.

Looking at the picture of Hannah on the mantlepiece and the photos of your daughter in the photo albums I couldn't get her face out of my head all weekend and thought of her lots hoping that she was smiling along with us as we enjoyed the home which you've so thoughtfully set up for other people to use in her memory. She'd be soooo proud of what you've done for others.

Thank you again.

Hi Pam,

Thank you again for your kindness and use of the holiday home, here are some of our pics that I took with my blackberry because we forgot the camera at home! :-)

Lots of love the Rampersad family

Dear Pam,

We just wanted to say a massive thank you for letting us stay in your amazing holiday home in the New Forest, we all had such a lovely time. Its been ages since we have spent time together as a family just having fun and enjoying ourselves and thanks to Hannah's Holiday Home we managed to do just that. It was brilliant to get away from home and a real novelty to pack for holiday and not for hospital!
Wayne and myself loved seeing Sophie so happy and excited she really benefited from getting away. We thought that the home was so modern and well equipped you have done a brilliant job in making it such a fantastic places for families to stay. The resort was great too and Sophie spent a lot of time in the park and playing crazy golf. We also made use of the pool this was the first time swimming for Sophie since the line came out and Chloe's first swimming experience! it was just ideal.
We were lucky enough to use the complimentary tickets to Peppa Pig World and Farmer Palmers both of which were thoroughly enjoyable and great family days out. I've attached some picture's the first few were taken at Paultons Park the others at Oakdene, which you can use for your web guest book. I will however also post some to you with a letter for the holiday home. We enjoyed looking though the book and seeing others having such a good time, Hannah would be very proud at what you and the team have achieved.
Once again thank you for such a brilliant holiday,we really did have such a lovely time one holiday we will never forget.

Massive thanks & All our love

Rachel, Wayne, Sophie (4yrs) and Chloe (8 months) Tomkins

Just to let you know that we had a wonderful time staying in Hannah's Holiday Home. Thank you so very much, although Thank You is never enough. We truly had a lovely time and naturally I shall be forwarding photos once I print them off.

I cannot even try to put into words how I am full of admiration for all that you do and for all that you have been through. Such an inspiration for countless parents.

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to stay in such a lovely place – I had forgotten how special it is. It's such a wonderful, positive way to remember Hannah. Since we moved away at the beginning of the year, it was lovely to return to the area, and to catch up with the friends we have left behind.

Pictures from my phone as we forgot to get some throw away ones. Children keep asking daily if we can go back he loved it. Hope you are all well. x

We have recently returned from your beautiful caravan. What a wonderful tribute to your daughter. The caravan is fab, and the campsite so relaxing. Tom had just finished a course of chemo, so was pretty weak and tired. But the boys thoroughly enjoyed it - in fact want to know if we can return next year (Tom will still be on treatment). It was a great break for us all.
Daniel is not showing any signs of developing Leukaemia yet, so fingers crossed.
I have attached a selection of photos for you, including some we took on leaving, of the caravan. So nice

Fantastic time chillaxing thank you so much xx

A quick email to say many thanks for the stay at the home. The weather was great for Feb and we got a bit of fresh air in the woods and plenty of swimming done. The kids loved the whole experience and we are very grateful. We hear the tea party is on the horizon so may see you there.

We all had a wonderful break at Hannah’s Holiday Home, and thank you again for the opportunity to stay.
I have sent a letter direct to your home, enclosing cheque.

My family and I were given the wonderful opportunity of spending a long weekend at Hannah's holiday home. This quality time enabled my family to spend some well deserved quality time together which was very much needed. The home was immaculate and very spacious and there was the added bonus of tickets into some lovely places.

Dear Pam

I wanted to write and say a massive thank you for allowing us to have such an amazing break at Hannah's holiday home. We can honestly say it was one of the most fun weekends we have ever had!

We drove down friday night and had dinner at the lovely pub across the road from the park, and then settled everyone down for a sleep. On saturday, all the children climbed into the sofa bed and watched cbeebies together which was gorgeous! After breakfast, we went to the Aquarium in Bournemouth, followed by a yummy lunch at Harry Ramsden's! The afternoon was spent swimming and swooshing down the big blue tube! Children's disco followed by lots of singing was great and Noah was asleep before I even put him into his pj's! Hooray!

Sunday was even better - beautiful weather and a trip to Longdown Farm. Can't rate this place highly enough - such a fun day. The children held the baby rabbits, chickens, fed the pigs and goats and best of all for Noah - he got to ride on a tractor.

A lovely afternoon swim and dinner at the pub was the best end to our weekend - the boys were asleep in the car all the way home!

It felt like was were there a lot longer than we actually were as we were so comfortable and well looked after. The park staff were great and the entertainment/activities for the children were spot on!
Again - can we just say a huge thanks to you for allowing us this precious time together away from "normal" life!

take lots of care and I hope you like the photos!

We had such a wonderful weekend, at Hannah's holiday home...

We live in Poole, so we are just down the road, but it was fantastic to stay here, no phone, or any other distractions. Just us, enjoying our family....

We had a great day out at Marwell Zoo, which was fab. But, both the kids really enjoyed swimming, the most.... we even managed to swim in the outdoor pool, thanks to the gorgeous weather....

We cannot thank you enough, for the amazing time we had, & your kindness for giving us this opportunity to have a break away.

Unfortunately my camera broke, & l only have 1 photo of our weekend away....

Thank you, so much, again.....

You should be very proud of yourself, your gorgeous girl, & the rest of your amazing family.......

I really cant thank you all enough.....

If we can help, in any way in the future, to promote this wonderful charity, just let me know...

I would like to thank all of you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful and very comfy caravan last weekend. We weren't lucky with the weather and had to shorten our break by a day, but it was still lovely to switch off from our everyday routines! Victoria loved every minute of our stay and that is what's the most important for me.

I want all of you to know that we really appreciate all your hard work. I also want to make sure you all realise that you are making a change to people's lives!

Thanks ever so much

We have just got home from a amazing holiday. I think I had forgotten how to have fun with the children. I have not smiled and laughed so much in a long time. Matthew and the girls had so much fun. I have enclosed a few pictures
